Hamish Readhead is a hobby bladesmith, creating Damascus blade knives in his shed at home in Yanchep, Western Australia. We had been talking about creating this film for a few years and finally everything lined up. We spent eight months slowly documenting him creating this one specific knife. From rain pouring on the shed roof in May to baking in nearly 50 degrees celsius in January, this one took a while to create but was worth every moment. Hamish spent a total of 100+ hours crafting this knife. This film delves into his thoughts behind the processes. I hope you enjoy episode two of the 'AGTTTF' series.
